The Ankole cattle is one of Rwanda’s most prevelent symbols of strength, prosperity, cultural pride. The Imigongo patterns carry the same weight. The thousand hills are in the wordmark itself. Every element is load-bearing with meaning.

The brand needed high contrast, a muted palette, angular shapes against the natural smoothness of the landscape. Typography that feels established and sits between modern and rural. A brand built to last and recognizable anywhere in the world.
